Guest Suite #2 Makeover Part Two - Bedroom Refresh

My guest suite #2 also had a little update in the bedroom this year. It’s amazing what a little paint and a few “new” accessories can do.

Some "Before" bedroom makeover pictures...

I had originally painted the pale lilac colour for my mother, but didn’t have time to repaint when I first turned the apartment into an Airbnb guest suite. When I finally got a chance to fit it in (with all my other projects) I decided on the gender neutral palette of navy, grey and white.

After raiding my storage room I found some New York pictures with my new colour palette. I decided to keep the big pink flower canvas though to add a little contrast colour. The wall medallion was also moved to the smaller wall.

The bedding was switched out with a pale blue quilted cover and navy velvet body pillow. I replaced the dresser and side table with two matching night stands I got at an online auction. Most guests don’t actually use the dresser, as I most just stay a couple of nights. There is still room in the nightstand drawers to put a few things if necessary. I replaced the drapes with some room darkening ones I also get from the online auction.
