Make a holiday planner to help you stay organized for the festive season. With a few inexpensive items you can be on top of all your holiday plans, from gifts to menus.

I put together this holiday planner to help me stay organized at Christmas. I embellished it with a fringe and pom poms. Both were purchased at Michael’s craft store.

Gather your supplies for your holiday planner...

The materials you will need  are:

  • Planner binder (I used a personal sized one from Michael’s.)
  • Card stock paper for dividers.(I like glitter for the season.)
  • Divider tabs ( I got these at Staple’s.)
  • Labeller (or write by hand) (I’ve used this Dymo labeller for several years.)
  • Scissors or cutting board (to cut the dividers)
  • Notepaper and/or graph paper

Decide on the categories you need...

The categories that I chose are:

  • budget ( decide how much you want to spend, or can afford to spend, on each event and person on your lists.)
  • things to do
  • cards
  • gifts and
  • events.

For events, there may be a family dinner or two, a work party, church activity or special theater night.

For gifts, you may do a special donation type gift for a local family in need.

I alternated silver and gold dividers.

What events do you need to plan? A work party or family get-togethers? Who do you need to send cards to? Add a pen and you’re good to go. Planning your holiday events will be a lot less stressful now.
