It’s been a couple of years since I started my Airbnb guest suites and I’ve made a few minor changes to my guest suite #1. Whether someone is coming for work or leisure they like to have a safe, homey place they can stay.

My newest Airbnb update to guest suite #1...

I have added a little barbecue for my guests to enjoy. This update is one of the suggestions a couple of guests gave and I was finally able to acquire. This little 2 burner  barbecue is an Expert Grill from Walmart and cost just over $100. So far, it’s been great. *(This is not sponsored or an affiliate link.)

Can you spot the differences? Airbnb Updates continued...

The original desk that the small television on was moved to my guest suite#2, where it had more room. I changed the television about a year ago when I got this 50″ Smart TV. It’s a little too big for the chest of drawers it sits on, but it’ll do for now. The silver and marble end table was switched out with a couple of hexagonal nesting tables. The extra little table can easily be moved to have a plate on if someone wants to eat there.

The floor lamp was originally in #2 but I thought the proportions looked better here. In the summer I also have a larger, portable air conditioner to put in here. You may also notice the addition of the little ottoman so people can put their feet up.

Airbnb updates in the bedroom...

The most important change here is the addition of room darkening curtains. This duvet cover is similar to the original one and I interchange them when needed. You may also notice that some of the pictures in both rooms have changed.

This is the accent chair I added to the bedroom.

After moving the chest of drawers into the closet I decided to put an accent chair in. (It’s always good to have a place to throw extra pillows.)

A few repairs to Airbnb guest suite #1...

I was lucky that the previous owner had left a few extra tiles so I could just replace the broken one. There was a cracked tile in the toilet room too, but I didn’t have any spare matching tiles for there. Fortunately I had a few tiles left over from another job so we were able to use them.

Another addition to guest suite #1...

The dining-entrance area looks almost the same, but I added another portable air conditioner here. With the large windows it tends to get hot here first. I also added a clock (not shown here, but is in the video linked below.)
